NORTH ELEMENTARY

Once a Redbird, Always a Redbird!

News from the Nest 11/6/26

Posted Date: 11/06/26 (03:00 PM)

Note from the Principal's Desk

November is here, and we have so much to be thankful for at North Elementary! As we head into the holiday season, we want to encourage our students to continue working hard, making positive choices, and giving their best effort each day.

We know that the excitement of the upcoming holidays can sometimes make it difficult for students to stay focused. This is a great time for us to work together to reinforce the importance of following expectations, being respectful, and staying engaged in learning.

Our next PBIS celebration is our annual Turkey Bowl! Students must have fewer than two discipline referrals to participate. Please encourage your child to continue making positive choices so they can join in the fun!

Attendance Matters! Every school day counts, especially as we approach the holiday season. Consistent attendance helps students maintain routines, stay connected to their learning, and continue making academic progress. Thank you for helping us make every day count!

One School. One Family. One Redbird Nation.
Every Student. Every Day. Whatever It Takes.

Thank You, Redbird Families!

WOW! Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our Redbird families, we raised over $10,000 during our Walk-a-Thon! We cannot thank you enough!
Every dollar raised goes right back to our students to help create memorable experiences like field trips, PBIS celebrations, Field Day, family nights, and so much more! Your support helps us make learning fun and create special memories for our Little Redbirds.
And of course, reaching our $10,000 goal meant I had to keep my promise! It was definitely a messy but fun way to celebrate!
Thank you again for supporting North Elementary and helping us make amazing things happen for our students! We truly have the BEST families!

Attendance

🏫 Every Day at School Matters!

At North Elementary, our goal is for 80% or more of our students to NOT be chronically absent. A student is considered chronically absent when they miss 10% or more of the school year, including both excused and unexcused absences.

Thank you, families, for making attendance a priority! Let's keep up the great work and continue building strong attendance habits. Every day counts!
