News from the Nest 5/8/26

As we enter the final two weeks of the school year, we ask families to please complete the Intent to Return form in Skyward if you have not already done so. This helps us plan and prepare for a strong start to next year.
Students will also be taking their end-of-year Reading benchmark assessments next week. We encourage you to support your child by ensuring they get a good night’s rest and come to school ready to do their best. We can't wait to see how much they have grown their reading skills this year!
Finally, as excitement builds at the end of the year, we appreciate your partnership in reminding students to continue following our schoolwide expectations. Finishing strong—both academically and behaviorally—helps ensure a positive and successful close to the school year for everyone!

This month, we are focusing on patience—the ability to stay calm, keep trying, and show understanding, even when things are challenging or don’t happen right away. At school, patience looks like waiting your turn, listening to others, and not giving up when learning feels tough. We will be encouraging students to practice patience with their classmates, their work, and themselves as we finish the school year strong!Redbird Role Models - Jaxyn Buchanon, Owen Woodress, Brielle Longstreet, Jarrett Telford, Storie Abel, Hannah Velikis, Avery Blaine, Kaiden Perkins
We are having a great time wrapping up the school year while also planning for next year! Please take a quick moment to let us know if your child(ren) will be returning.
Log in to Family Web Access and complete the Intent to Return Form for each of your students (this cannot be done in the Skyward App).
All families will complete registration in person on July 28, 29, or 30. More details to come soon!
We appreciate your help and support. We hope you have a great end to the year!
